SENECA, Carmelo - passed away at the Welland Hospital on Monday, November 19, 2007 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Maria (nee Longo). Dear father of Maria (Josie) Di Felice and her husband John, Louise Fazzalari and her husband Jim, Marina Carmela Seneca and Roberto. Loving grandfather of Jennifer and Frank DiFelice, Jimmy, Lisa and Mike Fazzalari and Ashley and Josh MacMeekin. Brother of Rocco and his wife Nancy, of Welland, Maria Callisto, and Pasquale and his wife Joy, both of Australia. Carmelo will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Nicola (Nick) of Welland and parents Donato and Giuseppa Seneca, and brother Giovanni of Italy. Carmelo came to Canada in 1951 and was employed at Atlas Steels for over 30 years until his retirement in 1990. The family will receive their friends at J.J. Patterson & Sons Funeral Residence 19 Young Street, Welland on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where a Vigil will be held at 3 o'clock. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. Rite of Committal at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
