BRADFORD, Shirley Agnes Retired - Bell Canada Shirley completed her life journey on November 15th, 2007. Born and raised in Granby, Quebec, she graduated from McGill University and spent her working years in Montreal with Bell Canada becoming the first woman assistant vice-president. Retiring to Ottawa she pursued her love of golf at the Royal Ottawa Golf Club and shared her talents at the Volunteer Bureau. She is remembered with love by her brother Walter, sister-in-law Joan Marie, niece Gayle Bridges (John), nephews Bob and Ted (Thanet Hardwick) and six grand nieces and nephews. The family is grateful to Epiphanie, the staff at Stillwater Creek Retirement Home and the staff at Longfields Manor for their loving care. Special Thanks is given to her niece Gayle, for her care and devotion. Friends may pay respects and share memories with family at the Kelly Funeral Home, 1255 Walkley Road (east of Bank) Monday after 2 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel Monday at 4 p.m. For those who wish, donations to the Alzheimer Society or to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
