THOMAS, Joanne Wendy (Nee Cunningham) Suddenly on Saturday the 17th of November 2007 at the age of 52. Survived by her husband Don, children Douglas and Margery, her mother Sheila Cunningham (Chateauguay, QC), sisters Gerry (Jim Pfeiffer), Heather Cunningham, and her brother Jim Cunningham. Joanne was a long time dental hygienist (25 yrs), an active member of the Orleans United Church, an Alto in the Carleton University Choir, and an avid quilter. Joanne touched many lives with her willingness to always lend a helping hand. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Orleans United Church on Friday, November 23rd, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. Donations may be made in her name to the "Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada", 620 Colborne Street, Suite 301, London, Ontario N6B 3R9 or to "Orleans United Church", 1111 Orleans Blvd., Orleans, ON K1C 7C8.
