WHEELER, Katherine (Kay) A. (Bangay) Died peacefully at Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre on November 21st, 2007 at the age of 96. Wife of the late Edgar J. Wheeler. Survived by her son Roy (Jean Allen), daughter Joan O'Meara (late John), her sister Florence Maxwell (Bill), daughter-in-law Jean (late Robert Wheeler). Grandchildren Les and Patricia Wheeler, Jennifer Adam (John), Bruce Wheeler, Kathryn Wheeler, Stephen Rothwell (Erin), Paul Rothwell (Corinne). many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Alice Dickens and Grace Lackey. Kay will miss her friends from Carlingwood Mall. She worked for Henry Birks & Sons Jewellers for almost 30 years. Many thanks to Dr. Judy Chow, Dr. Andrew Girvan and the staff at Redwood Retirement Residence and the Doctors, Nurses and Health Care Workers in the Palliative Care Unit at Elisabeth Bruyere for the wonderful care during her illness.
