SULLIVAN, Maureen (nee O'Brien) Maureen Mary Sullivan died peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital on November 22, 2007 surrounded by her loving family. Maureen leaves her husband of 35 years, John, and their two sons, Michael and Kevin; her brother Thomas (Lina) of Gatineau, and her sisters Anne (Grey Sisters, Pembroke) and Phyllis (Brian) of Ottawa; her sister-in-law Nora Mae (Regina) and her brother-in-law Michael O'Neill (Vanguard, Saskatchewan); her three nieces, Katherine, Jennifer and Valerie, and her three grand-nephews, Connor, William and Gavin. Maureen was a deeply caring wife and mother, as well as a generous volunteer in many community projects. She is fondly remembered at St. Patrick's Home where her late mother and father Evelyn and Herbert O'Brien were residents for a number of years, and where Maureen was a devoted visitor, sharing her laughter and love with each person she met. Friends may pay respects at Kelly Funeral Home, 2370 St. Joseph Blvd. in Orleans on Sunday, November 25 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Maureen's funeral liturgy will be celebrated at Divine Infant Parish in Orleans on Monday, November 26 at 10:30 am. The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care of the staff at the Ottawa General Hospital throughout her stay.
