TESTA, Oreste. 1931-2007. A debilitating stroke took away his independence, but it was unable to take away his courage. With that courage and the deep devotion of his wife Ida always by his side, he faced two years of harship until the Lord called him home. He leaves behind to mourn Ida his beloved wife of forty-seven years, his two daughters and sons-in-law Raffaela (Ramy) and Maurizia (Tom), the loves of his life, his 3 grandchildren Justin, Tiffany and Anthony along with his sisters in Italy, his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, family and friends. The family will receive condolences from family and friends at the Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 8900 boul. Maurice-Duplessis, R.D.P. The funeral will be celebrated at Marie-Auxiliatrice on Monday at 11 a.m. Visitation will take place on Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Published in the Montreal Gazette on 11/24/2007
