REMEMBERING RAY In loving memory of our Mother RAYZEL ZUCKERMAN February 22, 1933- November 25, 1982 The difficult thing was losing Ray We watched her slip, then fade away The nights so long, the days so black Our tears could never bring her back But memories of her smiling face, Her energy and warm embrace Have erased the pain these 25 years Of the Mom we held so dear The gentleness within her touch And strength we all admired so much Nothing has ever been the same Like emptiness within a frame We've missed her presence on life's road But her spirit always showed Living on in those she touched Loved and missed so very much Our loyalties remain true and strong With Murry's love, we can't go wrong So proud she'd be of her kids six Adding 19 grandkids to the mix Because she's always in our hearts Never are we far apart The easy part is remembering Ray We know... we do it everyday. Mom... we love and miss you very much, Alan, Linda, Gary, Stuart, Mitchell and Lloyd Published in the Montreal Gazette on 11/24/2007
