Dorothy Ann THORNTON

STIEBEL, Dorothy Ann (nee Thornton) 1925 - 2007 A retired psychologist with the Royal Ottawa Health Care Group, Dorothy passed away at Garry J. Armstrong Long Term Care Facility on November 25th, 2007. Predeceased by her husband William J. Stiebel in 1996, Dorothy lives on in the memory of her son David, her stepsons William, Peter and Ralph, her grandchildren Justin, Kersten, Christopher, Michael and Brian Stiebel as well as in the hearts of her nieces Mary and Leigh and her nephew Mark. The determination, compassion, joy and hope with which she lived her life are gratefully remembered by her family and friends. Following cremation, a memorial service and interment will take place in Lancaster, Ontario in the spring. Donations in Dorothy's memory can be made to the Ottawa Humane Society.
