Stephen Alexander Hrynchuk September 04, 1920 - November 22, 2007 On November 22, Steve (Pee-Wee) passed away in Victoria, British Columbia. He leaves behind his two daughters, Stephanie Alexandria Hrynchuk and family of Winnipeg; Sharon Gail Coulombe and family of British Columbia; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and friends. Steve was the last member of his generation. He was born and raised on Higgins avenue, Winnipeg. As a youth he was a light-weight boxer-Golden Gloves. Upon his fatherÕs death, he returned to live at the family home on Higgins until he retired from various business ventures, including the family business Grandpa left him (bootlegging). He was an avid pool player, gambler, casanova and jewellery junkie making him a colorful father, grandfather and uncle. He retired to Victoria, British Columbia, remaining active with fishing, gambling trips and socializing, often with Sharon and family who looked after him. He remained active and colorful to the end.
