O'CONNOR, HELEN AGATHA -Helen Agatha O'Connor of Fredericton, NB died unexpectedly in her home on Tuesday, November 27th, 2007 at the age of 104. Born on February 5th, 1903, Helen was a lifelong resident of Fredericton. As those who knew Helen can attest, she certainly lived her life to the fullest. She was deeply committed to her faith and cherished her family; friends and above all, life itself. Helen was among the very first physiotherapists to practice in New Brunswick. She touched everyone she came in contact with, had an extremely positive outlook and never said a bad word of anyone; bridge partners playing the wrong card excepted, of course. Helen was the eldest child of Charles and Annie (Moore) O'Connor and; in addition to her parents, was predeceased by her five siblings; Stella, Mary, John, Margaret and Alice. Helen was also very recently predeceased by her adored nephew, Fred (Buster) Harvey. She leaves behind her nieces Margaret Ann Urquhart of Saint John, Helen Jean (Bruce) Newman of Fredericton and Kris Harvey of Fredericton; as well as, her great-nieces Kimberly (Alex) Stewart, Lindsay (Andrew) Baumgartner, Brenda Harvey, Karen Harvey and Susan Harvey; great-great nephew, James Stewart; cousins and friends. All were inspired by her unconditional love and wisdom and all were "dear" to her. Family and friends may pay respects at McAdam's Funeral Home on Friday, November 30th, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Dunstan's Roman Catholic Church, Regent Street on Saturday, December 1st, 2007 at 2:00 PM with Father Gerald White officiating. No flowers by request. Memorial tributes made to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
