Esther Mildred MACKENZIE

SALTERIO, ESTHER MILDRED, beloved wife of the late Earl Joseph Salterio, passed away on November 8, 2007 at the age of 76. Esther was born in Saint John, NB on August 28, 1931. Esther followed her husband through his career at Scotia Bank to points in the Maritimes and Calgary Alberta. After Earl's death in March of 2005 Esther relocated to Halifax, NS where she resided independently until her death. Esther will ever be missed by her sons, John (Christine) of Halifax, NS and by Dr. Steve (Leslie) of Kingston, ON. Esther will also be missed by her loving grandchildren, Nicholas of Halifax and Alexander of Kingston. Esther is also survived by brothers, Reynold (Sandra) and Ronald (Doris) MacKenzie all of Halifax. Her sister, Muriel Finnamore of Fredericton also survives Esther. She was predeceased by her parents, Reynold and Kathleen (Amburg) MacKenzie of Saint John, NB. No visitation by request. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 am Monday November 12, 2007 in St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Munford Rd. Halifax. Rev. Michael Walsh officiating. Interment will take place Wednesday November 14,2007 at 3 pm In St. Joseph's Cemetery Saint John, NB. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.Arrangements entrusted to J.A. Snow Funeral Home Halifax.
