HOLLAND- The death of Clifford Louis Holland occurred at the Norfolk General Hospital Nursing Home, Simcoe, Ont., on Monday, November 5, 2007, in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Laura (Van Haelewyn) Holland. He will be sadly missed by his sisters, Helen Morris (Josh) of Saint John, Sister Kathleen Holland of Antigonish, and Connie Cooper of Saint John; his brother, Leo Holland (Catherine) of Belleville, Ont.; his stepdaughter, Janet Smith (Brian) of Kanata, Ont.; and several nieces and nephews. He had served six years in Europe during the Second World War with the Royal Canadian Army and had been a member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 79 in Simcoe. He had been employed with Ontario Hydro for 20 years until his retirement a number of years ago. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary's Church in Simcoe. Graveside Service will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Saint John, on Friday morning, November 16th, at eleven o'clock.
