COOK, DOROTHY RITA - It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Dorothy Rita Cook peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, November 17, 2007 at the Loch Lomond Villa. Dorothy, born April 28th, 1926, will now be reunited with her late husband, John Leo Cook and predeceased children, Noel and Tony. Dorothy was the daughter of the late Walter and Josephine (Viger) Todd. She was predeceased by her siblings, Frederick, John, Harold, Frank, Bobbie and Laura; as well as the recently departed, Margaret Reid and Edna Bosfet her sisters, best friends and "partners in crime". Dot was raised in Glen Falls and spent the best years of her life on Simpson Drive in the family's "Big House". In her younger days, Dot worked at Brown's Box Factory with her sisters. She also had a love of the horses at EPR Raceway and especially a very special horse named J L Cook (Cookie). For over 30 years Dot enjoyed what she loved best, spending time with her family at the camp at New River Beach where many laughs and games of golf and chase the ace ensued. Dot will be sadly missed by her daughter, Nadine McDevitt (James) of Saint John; granddaughters, Sue Arseneault (Henry) and Jill Knee (Phil) both of Saint John; great grandson, and apple of her eye, Emmett Knee; brother, Charles Todd (Carol) of Saint John; and her very special nieces and nephews.
