BURGESS, Beulah Elizabeth Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital on Saturday, December 8, 2007. The former Beulah Elizabeth Wallace, at the age of 93 years. Beloved wife of the late William James Burgess. Loving mother of Lyle and his wife Rose of Lansdowne and Art and his wife Pat of Hartington. Very proud grandmother of Kevin (Lori), Kelly McMachen (Milton), Kenneth (Nicole), Brenda Tibbutt (Darren), Beth Brown (Chris) and Allan (Lauri), as well as 13 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Vera Hodgson of Kingston, Hilda Hodgson of Harrowsmith, Geraldine Burgess, also of Kingston, Evelyn Gilbert of Belleville, Margaret Traynor and her husband Larry of Yarker, Earl Wallace and his wife Irene of Sydenham and Howard Wallace of Godfrey. Also remembered with much love by her sister-in-law Kay Wallace. Predeceased by her brothers Gordon and Archie. Resting at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, CATARAQUI CHAPEL (1900 John Counter Boulevard) on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Wednesday, December 12, 2007 for service in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 am, the Reverend William Whiston officiating. Interment Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to Westbrook United Church or to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (Chronic Care at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital) would be appreciated by the family.
