GREENWOOD, James (Jim) - “I love you more today than yesterday, less today than tomorrow“ October 4, 1947 - December 8, 2007 After a courageous fight, James (Jim) Greenwood has passed on to be with the sparkle of his eyes of 31 years Brenda Jean (Bourassa) Greenwood (2007). James was in his 61st year. James will be deeply missed by his children Michelle (Joe) Pimentel of Sarnia, Tracey (Alfred) McLauchlin of Sarnia, Patricia (Bruce) Johnston of Oil Springs and his only son, Jamie (Candace) Greenwood of Melbourne. James will be greatly missed by his sister Veronica Gedge, and brother Henry (Pat) Greenwood and brother-in-law Bob Smith all of Sarnia. James will be missed by his many grandchildren; Brandi, Bill, Derrick, Shea, Sarah, Alisha, Michael, William, Kali, Ryan, Taylor, Mercedes, Joshua, Paris and Claire, and his great-grandchildren Daeneira and A.J. Also missed by his mother-in-law Olive Bourassa of Petrolia, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews, cousins in England, fellow Legionnaires, and friends. James is predeceased by his father David Roberts Greenwood, by his mother Florence (Lewtas) Greenwood, and sisters Theresa Greenwood and Mary (Greenwood) Smith, and also his father-in-law Joe Bourassa. Family and friends will be received at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, Petrolia, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Royal Canadian Legion Br. 249 will conduct a memorial service Thursday at 6:45 p.m. A service celebrating the life of James will be held at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, Petrolia on Friday, December 14, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. James and his wife Brenda will be laid to rest at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Wyoming, where they will journey together forever. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to the London Health Sciences Foundation (Critical Trauma Care Centre) or the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 249.
