FORBES, Shirley Ruth (nee Tweedy) - Peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on Tuesday, December 11, 2007, beloved wife of Douglas Forbes of Kingston. Dear mother of Sharon Salman (David) of Seattle, WA; Judith Robertson (Glenn Hanson); of Leduc, AB; Jeff Robertson of Toronto and step mother of Susan Low (Brian) of Wellington and Janet Edwards (Ken) of Mississauga. Loving grandmother to Melissa Williams (Grant); Erin Salman, John and Jennifer Watts, Bryan, Brennan and Kevin Low. Survived by sister Helen Rollins (John) and brother Lyle Tweedy. Resting at JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME (1900 John Counter Boulevard), friends will be received Thursday 2:30 - 4:30 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Edith Rankin Memorial United Church (4080 Bath Road) on Friday, December 14, 2007 at 11 am. with Rev. Dr. Wayne Soble officiating.
