MILLS, George - At Bluewater Health - C.E.E. Site, Petrolia, on Friday, December 14, 2007. GEORGE MILLS, 82 years of Petrolia. Beloved husband of Amy (nee Barnes). Loving father to Wendee and Ted Pelkie and Tammy and Jacques Leblanc all of Petrolia. Cherished grandfather to Michael and Sandy Pelkie, Kristopher and Meg Leblanc, Adam Leblanc, Alex and Kirsten Leblanc and the late Shawn Pelkie (1986). Loving great grandfather of Chapman Pelkie and Alyssa Leblanc. Dear brother of Barbara Knight and the late Len Mills and his wife Carolyn. Also survived by his brother and sisters-in-law, Roy and Pic Barnes, Shirley Barnes and Gilbert, Sheila Rose and Floyd and the late Harry and his wife Harriette Barnes. George was predeceased by his mother, Dora Mills and his father and mother-in-law, Amos and Amy Barnes. George served his country overseas during World War II with the Essex Scottish Regiment, and was retired from Imperial Oil with 35 years of service. Private funeral services will be held.
