Est décédé à l’âge de 45 ans, époux de Madame Cecilia Ganzon. Monsieur Serge Lapointe laisse dans le deuil outre son épouse Madame Cecilia Ganzon, sa mère Hélène Gauthier, sa sœur Christine (Richard Larouche), Carole, Manon (Robert Oliver), ses oncles et tantes : François, Myriam, Roxanne, Zachary, Joshua et Jade ainsi que de nombreux parents et amis. Les funérailles ont eu lieu le mardi 4 décembre 2007 en l’église Sacré Cœur de Rouyn-Noranda. Un don à la fondation des maladies du cœur.
