Olive Lorraine PROCTOR

DE BEVEC, Olive Lorraine Proctor (GILL) - Peacefully at St. Lawrence Place, Kingston, in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her husbands, Inspector Ernest Gill (Toronto Police Force) and Joseph J. De Bevec. Sadly missed by her children: Carol and Alan Christie (Toronto), Elaine and Peter Sheppard (Kingston) and John Gill (formerly of Toronto, now Kingston). Beloved Nana to Ric and Laurie, Cathy and Phil J. and Sheryl, Michelle and George, Cameron, and Dwayne and Cheryl. A wonderful G.G. for her great grandchildren: Beth, Christopher, Emma, Evan, Gavin, Sean, Erica and Grace. Fondly remembered by her brothers' families: Chas and Gladys Proctor, and Clem and Jacqueline Proctor (all deceased). As the matriarch of the family, Olive will be sorely missed by her nieces and nephews: JoAnne and Larry, Susan and Dennis, Dick and Merran, Peter and Barb, and Betty and Heather. She will also be missed by Joe's sons and their families: Jeff and Sarah and Amelia, and Mike and Annie and Aerie, Jess and George. At Olive's request there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at 12:00 noon at Willowdale United Church, 349 Kenneth Avenue, Willowdale, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Willowdale United Church, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
