FALCIONI, Evo Mario - In loving memory of Evo Mario Falcioni, 87 years who passed away Friday morning, November 30th, 2007 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. Born in Fano, Italy, he came to Canada in 1925, and married Alda in Copper Cliff, in 1942. Evo worked as a winder at INCO for 42 years, retiring in 1980. He was a devout Roman Catholic, a founding member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish and a long time member of the church choir. He was a member of the INCO Quarter Century Club, Caruso Club, Golden Age Club, Copper Cliff Italian Club and for many years played the tuba in the Sudbury Band. He enjoyed gardening. Evo loved music and dancing; they were the joys of his life. He was devoted to his family and his faith, he leaves a wonderful legacy of love in the hearts of all he touched during his life. Beloved husband of Alda (Tomassini) Falcioni predeceased 1992. Loving father of Elaine (husband Dave Hallock), David (wife Michelle), Kenneth (wife Heather), Gary (wife Sandy), Robert (wife Jeane), Margaret (husband Philippe Dupuis), Daniel (wife Valerie), Ralph (wife Patricia), and Mark (wife Lisa). Cherished grandfather of 25 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Dear son of Luigi and Rosa Falcioni both predeceased. Dear brother of Gino (wife Elsa) and Turido (wife Patricia) both predeceased. Special friend of Carmella Bureau. Resting at the JACKSON and BARNARD FUNERAL HOME 233 Larch St. Funeral Mass in St. Andrew the Apostle Church 1250 Barrydowne Rd., Monday, December 3rd, 2007 at 10 a.m. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium.
