WOWK, Cecile (nee Dupuis) - In loving memory of Cecile (nee Dupuis) Wowk, 83 years who passed away Tuesday, December 11th, 2007 at the Maison La Paix, Sudbury. She was born in St. Charles and married Zenas Wowk in Sudbury in 1952. Cecile had worked at Loblaws and Sears for several years. She was a devout Roman Catholic having faithfully attended St. Clement's Church in healthier times. She had been a volunteer and regular donor with the Canadian Blood Services (Red Cross). She enjoyed dancing and she will be remembered for her wonderful smile and good humour. Beloved wife of Zenas Wowk predeceased 1996. Cherished daughter of Moise and Mary (O'Neil) Dupuis predeceased. Loving sister of Desmond, Alfred, Moise “Jerry“ Dupuis, Beatrice Crockette and Lillian Russell all predeceased. Dear sister-in-law of Rita Dupuis of Sudbury, Iverna Dupuis of Lindsay, Dr. Violet Small of London and Sonia Bertrim of Lively. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Prayers in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Thursday, December 13th, 2007 at 12 noon. Interment in the family plot at the Sudbury Catholic Cemetery.
