BURKE, Ronald “Ron“ Anthony - In loving memory of Ronald “Ron“ Anthony Burke, 76 years, who passed away Tuesday, December 11th, 2007 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. Beloved husband of 57 years to Shirley (Biggings) Burke of Sudbury. Loving father of Laura (husband Murray Sheppard) of Falconbridge, Lynn (husband Kendall Dolliver) of Kemptville and Diane of Sudbury. Cherished grandfather of Carrie- Lynn, Kimberly, Dawna, Jennifer, Amy and 10 great grandchildren. Dear son of Delbert predeceased and Loretta (Spooner) Burke of Sudbury. Dear brother of Lorraine, Willard and James all of Sudbury, Janet of Lynden, predeceased by George and Clarence. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Born in Massey, he married Shirley in Sault Ste Marie, in 1950. He was a mechanical supervisor at Falconbridge Nickel Mines for 32 years, retiring in 1985. Ron loved to spend time at his camp on Fairbanks, golfing and after retiring spent 17 winters in Holiday, Florida. At Ron's request there will be no public visitation or service. Cremation.
