HARRIS, Bernadette, Maryanne (nee Rail) - In loving memory of Bernadette M (nee Rail) Harris, 70 years, who passed away Saturday, December 15th, 2007 at her residence. She was born in Foleyet and married Robert Harris in 1956 in Toronto. A longtime Valley East resident, Bernadette was a devout Roman Catholic who belonged to St. Kevin's Church. She enjoyed playing cards, swimming and traveling. She was a member of the Hanmer Golden Age Club. Bernadette will be remembered as a positive person who inspired and encouraged all she met. She was devoted to her loving family. Wife of Robert Harris, predeceased 2000. Loving mother of Diane Belanger (partner Len) of Sudbury, Daniel of Oshawa, Bruce (wife Eileen) of Blezard Valley, Julie (husband Jean-Marc Larcher) of Hanmer, Phil of Sudbury, Marc (wife Michelle) of Whitby, Roxanne of Toronto and predeceased by twin daughters Debbie and Sandy. Cherished grandmother of Guy, Crystale, Matthew, Kyle, Sylvain, Josée, Stephane, Gavin, Graham and great grandchildren Jacob, Joshua, Joseph, Dylan and Justice. Dear daughter of Elzear and Claire (Labonte) Rail predeceased. Dear sister of Jacqueline Turcot of Sudbury, Madelaine St. Michael of Sudbury and Claire Wyatt of Hawaii and the late Maurice, Fleurette, Pierrette and Pauline, all predeceased. Funeral prayers in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME HANMER/CAPREOL CHAPEL, 4605 Michelle Dr., Hanmer, Wednesday, December 19th, 2007 at 11 am. Cremation with interment in the family plot at the Valley East Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
