PICARD, Rémi Valmor - The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, Tuesday, December 18th, 2007 at the age of 92 years. Son of the late Honoré and of the late Olive (née Boyer) Picard. Husband of the late Madeleine Rose Picard (née Quenneville). Loving father of Jacqueline Prévost (Raymond) of Hanmer, Robert Picard (Brenda) of Toronto, Gisèle Arseneault (Christopher) of Warren and Donald Picard of Gatineau. Dear brother of Béatrice Martin (late Peter), Simone Cooper (late Newton) and Marcelle Gervais (Peter) all of Sudbury, Albert Picard (Madeline) of North Bay, Françoise Shayer (Don) of Capreol, Lucien Picard (late Pauline) of London and Rita Labine (late Eddy) of Sault Ste-Marie. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Arthur (late Floride of Sudbury), Rolland (Edna of Sudbury), Jean-Paul (late Dorothy) and by his sister Thérèse Garrow (late Robert). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Karl, Derek, Nathalie, “Bobby“ Robert, Nicole, Michelle, Alexandre, Daniel, François, Paul and by his great-grandchildren Dominique, Erik, Sebastien and Simon. A retired Inco mechanic, Mr. Picard was also a former member of “Club Amical“, Sudbury. The family will receive friends at the CO- OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Thursday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, December 21st, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. in St- Jean-de-Brébeuf Church, Sudbury. Prédécédé par ses frères et soeurs Arthur (feu Floride de Sudbury), Rolland (Edna de Sudbury), Jean-Paul (feu Dorothy ) et par sa soeur Thérèse Garrow (feu Robert). Il sera également regretté par ses petits-enfants Karl, Derek, Nathalie, “Bobby“ Robert, Nicole, Michelle, Alexandre, Daniel, François, Paul et par ses arrière-petits- enfants, Dominique, Erik, Sebastien et Simon. M. Picard était mécanicien à la retraite de la compagnie Inco. Il a aussi été membre du club amical, Sudbury. La famille recevra parents et amis à la COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE, 222 boulevard Lasalle E. (angle Notre-Dame), Sudbury, jeudi de 14 h à 17 h et de 19 h à 21 h 30. La messe funéraire sera célébrée le vendredi 21 décembre 2007 à 10 h 30 à la paroisse St-Jean-de-Brébeuf, Sudbury. 10938964
