ARAKELIAN, Vera (formerly Mooradian) - born Nov. 19, 1931, to Vahan and Zabel Mooradian in Brantford, Ontario departed her life Dec. 6, 2007, at Hoag Memorial Hospital in Newport Beach, CA., at the age of 76. She is survived by her husband, Harry Arakelian; two children, Anahid Burkhart and Richard Arakelian, all of Newport Beach, California, and her siblings, Audrey Ball of Ontario, Canada, Jack Mooradian of South Lyon, Michigan. As well as Harry Mooradian of Toronto Canada, now deceased. She also leaves behind a host of loving family and friends. Vera was an extraordinary business women who proudly owned three restaurants, a real estate portfolio and supported numerous companies. Her remains will be honored at a church service at 10:30 am, Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007, at St. Mary's Armenian Church, 148 East 22nd Street. Costa Mesa, CA 92626, (949) 650-8367. Following the church service, there will be a burial at 12:30 p.m. at Pacific View Cemetery in Corona del Mar, California.
