TURCOTTE, Claude 'Dick' - It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Claude 'Dick' Turcotte on December 9, 2007 at the age of 67. Beloved husband and best friend of Laurel Turcotte (nee Bale). Loving father of David Turcotte (Lorraine) of North Bay, Brian Turcotte (Patti) of Powasan and Shannon Turcotte (Denis) of Ottawa. Cherished grandchildren Hannah and Graeme will miss their 'bompa' while Liam and Baby Emma will miss their 'poppa'. Dear son of the late Isidore and Bernadette (nee Crawford) Turcotte. Dick will be lovingly remembered by his mother- in-law Beaulah Bale (Henry, deceased) Predeceased by brothers Austin, Gerald and Donald Turcotte. Will be sadly missed by his sister Zita Simpson (Robert) and brothers Bernard Turcotte (Eileen), and Robert Turcotte (Ruth). Dicky will fondly remembered by his in-laws Sylvia and Brian MacKinnin, Gayle Bale, and Hugh and Cathy Bale. Dick will also be dearly missed by Danny Moore (Joanne), many niece and nephews. Friends and family will miss his musical talent, in particular his tunes played on the fiddle. Dad your music will forever live in our hearts. Friends may call at the VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, deep River on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, deep River on Thursday at 11 a.m. Followed by cremation. In memoriam donations to the Lung Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated. 10930358
