RICHAN, Patricia - Mrs. Patricia Mary Richan of Cobourg, passed away peacefully at the Golden Plough Lodge on December 9, 2007 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of Keith Richan. Loving step-mother of Carolyn, Beverly, Ronald and Kathryn. Dear grandmother of 9 grandchildren and great- grandmother of 8 great-grandchildren. Patricia is also survived by her brother Peter Turner (Rayma) and their children Peter and Jane and her sister-in-law Patricia Turner and her children Ian and Jeffery. Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Winnafred Turner and her brother David Turner. In her earlier years, Pat excelled in track and field, badminton and in later years, tennis. During the war, she was a secretary in the British Mission in Washington DC, and she attended the first organizational conference for regulating civil air transport held in Bermuda. Pat was an active volunteer with a number of organizations. A celebration of Pat's life will be held in the new year.
