MAICH, Alexander E. - Suddenly and unexpectedly at the young age of 50 Alex left us doing the thing he loved most in life and came out a winner. Beloved step-father to Scott Kerr and Danielle McManus, grandfather to Kyle, Taryn and Sean McManus and dearly loved by Barbara Maich all of Florida. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Ellen Maich of Brantford. Alex is survived by his brothers and sisters, Gordon Harris, Shirley Avery, John Maich, Ron Maich, Shirley Martin and many nieces and nephews in Canada. Alex was a very caring and loving soul and will be truly missed by many friends and family in Florida and in Canada. A celebration in honour of Alex's life will be held at the residence of Barbara Maich in Florida (727) 863-8223. Poppa we love you, you have touched our lives in a way we will never forget you.
