MILLS, Audrey Joan - Peacefully with her family at her side after a brief illness at the Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday December 11, 2007. Audrey Joan Mills in her 69th year. Beloved wife for 47 years of Murray. Dear mother of Scott and his wife Patti, Cathy and her husband Darrell Dailey and David and his wife Deanna. Loving “Nanny Mills“ to Chauntelle, Janal, Matt, Brandon, Aaron, Madeline, Parker and Griffen. Dear sister of Ernest Coombs Jr. and his wife Ann. Pre-deceased by her parents Ernest and Ruby Coombs and a sister Ruth Coombs. Audrey was a former employee of Slingsbys and Cockshutts and retired from the Brant County Board of Education. Audrey enjoyed bridge and bowling and will be remembered for her gifts of needlepoint, knitting and crocheting. She spent countless hours enjoying her grandchildren's sporting events and at her cottage on Bogies beach. Friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Service in the chapel on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Cremation has taken place.
