DOLSON, R. Allen - a resident of Chatham died surrounded by his family on Saturday December 1, 2007 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, at the age of 70. Born in Chatham son of Winnifred E. (Parker) Clements and her husband Henry of Chatham and the late Roger Frederic Dolson (1979). Allen was a dedicated husband for 49 years, an avid hunter and traveler who enjoyed old cars and was a member of the Kent Historic Auto Club. Beloved husband of Margaret D. (Wright) Dolson. Dear father of Nathan & Karen Dolson, Chatham and Craig & Patty Dolson, Chatham. A very proud Grandfather of Chelsea & Daniel. Brother of David & Joanne Dolson, Chatham and Stewart & Marjorie Dolson, R..R. #1, Grande Point. Brother-in-law of William (Bill) & Lynda Wright, London; Karen Millen & her friend John Blokker, Chatham and Walter & Charleen Wright, Newmarket. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and step- brother Doug & Pat Clements of Chatham. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Tuesday December 4, 2007 from 2:00-4:30 & 7:00-9:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be conducted at the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Andrew Nelson officiating. Cremation to follow.
