LAMORIE, Rita (Duquette) - Formerly of North Bay. Rita gently passed away Saturday December 1, 2007 in Bloomington Minnesota, at age 79, from cancer. Loving wife, sister, mom, nanna and friend. Preceded in death by parents Anna and William Duquette, brothers Joseph, Leo, Hector Duquette; sisters Oneida, Leona, Eleanor and Marie; grandson Joshua Wilson. Survived by husband Clarence of 55 years; four children, Sandy Wilson (Allan), Greg Lamorie (Sylvie), Karen Madich (Mike), Donna Herman (Pete); four grandchildren, Nicole, Lane, Brittany and Leah; step- grandchildren Jason (Lacie) and Nick (Dareth) Herman and step-great grandchild Clara; sister Stella (Carson) Greer and numerous nieces and nephews.Rita loved life, family and friends. She enjoyed golfing and playing the slots with her friends. She spoiled her grandchildren and was a dear friend to many. She volunteered at VEAP food shelf for 18 years. Rita lived it up to the end. She will always be loved and missed. Heartfelt thanks to the staff and nurses at Fairview Hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to VEAP food shelf or charity of choice.
