BOWMAN, Alvin Eugene - At the Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg, on Monday December 3, 2007, at the age of 85. Alvin Bowman beloved husband for 62 years of Dorcas Aletha (nee Davey). Loving father of Norma and her husband Ralph Stoffers, Marybelle and her husband Henry Heideman and Eunice and her husband Dean Tapscott. Dear grandfather of Dawn and her husband Steve McKirdy, Greg Stoffers and his wife Alison, Kim and her husband Jason Orchard, Karen and her husband Clark Moss, Connie and her husband Glen Prentice and Steve Glenn. He will also be missed by 13 great grandchildren. Brother of Keith and his wife Mae and Harold and his wife Ruth Bennett. Predeceased by his brother Lawrence. A funeral service will be held at the MacCOUBREY FUNERAL HOME, 30 King St., East, Cobourg, on Saturday December 8 at 2:00 p.m. Interment Baltimore United Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, one hour prior to time of funeral.
