BRUINES, Dirkje - At her residence on Thursday, December 6, 2007, Dirkje Bruines (nee Cuiper) of Caressant Care, Woodstock and formerly of James St., Woodstock, in her 95th year; beloved wife of the late Hendrick Bruines (1996); dear mother of Maarten and his wife Shirley of Brantford, Corrie Burke and her husband Allan of Bealton and Henry and his wife Grace of Woodstock; loved grandmother of Michael, Steve, Jamie (Melanie), Jennifer, Tim (Amanda), Brian (Jennifer), Wendy (Derek), Chris (Sarah) and great-grandmother of Lea, Spencer, William and Owen; also survived by her sister-in-law Annie Cuiper of Holland and many nieces and nephews; predeceased by her daughter Cornelia, by her son Hendrik Anthony and by two brothers and two sisters. Dirkje was a longtime member of Emmanuel Reformed Church, Woodstock and enjoyed singing in the church choir.
