JONATHAN, Lawrence “Cabot“ - “Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength, they will soar on wings like eagles“, Isaiah 40:31 The Family of Lawrence Jonathan age 80 years sadly yet with joy announce his home coming to heaven on Wednesday, December 5, 2007. For 53 years Lawrence was the husband and best friend of Eulalee (Staats) Jonathan. He gave his unconditional love to his children Deb & Dave MacLeod, Janet Jonathan, Judy & Tom Reuben, Jean & Kevin Miller, Joyce & Jim Crone and Jerrilyn & Mark Jurgeneit. Pa was deeply loved by his grandchildren Jennifer, Quin, Brad, Tami, Angela, Adam, Amanda, Richard, Lindsey, Kaley, Jordan, Jay, Matt, Zach, Josh, Jess, Aiden, Ethan and his great- grandchildren Alexander, Samuel, Isaac & Micah. Lawrence was predeceased by his parents Howard & Sarah Jonathan, brothers Stan, Gerald & Melvin. He is survived by Gladys Brown & Garfield Jonathan. Lawrence was an avid ball player with the Six Nations Mohawks, snowsnake champion, member of the Six Nations Hunt Club and active community and church member. He retired after 35 years of service with the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 793. Resting at STYRES FUNERAL HOME, Ohsweken after 2 pm Friday and 2 pm Saturday. Evening Memorial Service Saturday 7 pm. Funeral Service & Burial at Ohsweken Baptist Church on Sunday, December 9, 2007 at 2 pm.
