COBELL, Peter - of Welland, at the Welland County General Hospital on Monday, December 10, 2007 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Mary Cobell (nee, Rutka). Dear brother of Bill Cobell of Oshawa and Al Cobell of Pefferlaw. Lovingly remembered by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Louis and Katherine Cobell. Mr. Cobell retired from General Motors in St. Catharines where he worked in the foundry. He was a loyal member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 017. A lover of animals, Peter will be missed by all his friends of nature. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family at a memorial mass at the Parish Community of St. Kevin 307 Niagara Street, Welland, on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Welland Humane Society would be greatly appreciated by the family with cards available at the H.L.
