STEED, Walter - March 23, 1931 ~ December 10, 2007 - Peacefully on Monday in Hamilton at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Edna. Dear father of Sharon Steed (Rick Pahl), Brian Gagnon and James Steed. Predeceased by his son David Steed. Loving grandfather of Mary Rose (Charles), Wally (Tracy), Joseph, Shari (Mike) and Jamie (Wade). Cherished great grandfather of Jacob, Faith, Emma, Michael and Logan. Will be missed by his sister Verna (Don). Walter leaves behind many nieces and nephews. As per Walter's request cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Downtown Chapel of BUTLER FUNERAL HOME 33 Duke Street at James (behind the Court House) 905- 684-2334, on Friday, 14, 2007 from 12 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 2 p.m. Donations to the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters would be appreciated by the family.
