COSTEA Carmella Costea (nee Yocco) passed away peacefully on Monday, December 3, 2007 at the Welland Hospital at the age of 81. She leaves behind her loving husband of 60 years, and special caregiver, Louis. Beloved mother of Rick and his wife Pauline. Cherished grandmother of Mark and his wife Alaina, and Erica. Loving sister and best friend to Josephine Perry (late Orlando), Domenic Yocco and John Yocco. Survived by her sisters-in-law Helen Bradnam, Ellen Yocco, Betty Costea and Julie Porter. Special aunt to Cindy Desjardins. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John and Teresa Yocco, and by her brother Norman. Carmella lived for her grandchildren and spent all her life giving to others. The family will receive friends at J.J. Patterson & Sons Funeral Residence 19 Young Street, Welland on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where a memorial service will be conducted by Rev. Mel Stevens on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. Rite of committal in Holy Cross Cemetery.
