PLATI, Salvatore - Passed away at his residence, after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday December 4, 2007 at the age of 74. Beloved husband of 51 years to Maria Grazia (Cirillo) Plati. Dearly loved father of Nick (Terri-Lynn) Plati, Sam Plati, Joanne Ross (Al Petti), Antoniette (John) Markel and Elisabetta (Tony) DiPaola, all of Niagara Falls. He was a loving, devoted and most cherished Nonno to Melissa, Brian, Nicholas, Victoria, Johnny, Anthony, Vito and Nicholas. Dear brother of Denora Plati and Nicolina (Nicola) Marra and brother-in-law of Frank (Rose) Cirillo, Santa Zappavigna, Antoinette (Tony) Leone, Gary (Debbie) Cirillo, Domenic (Cindy) Cirillo, Tony (Nicolina) DeStefano, Doug Allan and Nellie Cirillo. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. Predeceased by his parents Nicola and Giovanna Plati, his in- laws Graziano and Maria Grazia Cirillo, his sisters-in-law Elisabbetta DeStefano and Angela Allan, his brothers-in-law Joseph Cirillo, Vito Cirillo and Paolo Zappavigna and his nephews Carmello Zappavigna and Mario DeStefano. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann's Church. Entombment will follow at Fairview Mausoleum. The Vigil for Mr. Plati will be celebrated Friday at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home. In memory of Mr. Plati donations to the G.N.G.H.
