KOSIUK, Nellie (nee Kuchmij). 1928-2007. Passed away peacefully on December 2, 2007 at St. Mary's Hospital at the age of seventy-nine. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Bill of fifty-nine years. Devoted mother of Linda, Donna (Eduardo), Kathy (Vince) and Bill Jr. (Lisa). Cherished grandmother of Mark (Stacy), Jason and Alicia, Eric, Stephanie and Tyler. She will also be sadly missed by her brother Nicholas. Sister-in-law to Michael (Mary) and the late Gerry (Ann). She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Mary's Hospital for their compassion and care. She devoted many hours of volunteer work to the Auxiliary at St. Mary's Hospital. A special thank you to Dr. Barry Slapcoff for years of care. Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 6, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, December 7, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Panachyda will be at 8 p.m. (both evenings) at: The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 8 at 11 a.m. at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 6175 10th Avenue/Bellechasse. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Mary's Hospital Cancer Care Fund or the Father Josaphat Jean Scholarship Foundation.
