VERMAETEN, Karl At 75 years, passed away on December 4, 2007 after a long struggle with pulmonary fibrosis. Loving husband to Corry and father to five children, and devoted "Opa" to Sarah, Hannah, Matthew, Breanne, Bryce, Ryan, Darren, Jenna and Jikael. He will be missed by his family in Canada, as well as his family in Germany and Holland. A small family ceremony will be held on December 7.
