OBITUARY ARKADIUSZ (ARTHUR) NACHAJ 1912 - 2007 On December 4, 2007 in his ninety-fifth year at the Canadian Polish Institute, after a lengthy and courageous battle with Alzheimer's. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of fifty-four years Ursula (Gringel), his children Henry (Alda) and Michael and his grandchildren Alexander and Christopher. He was a WWII veteran of the Second Corp, Polish Army and a member of Polish War Veteran Society since arriving in Canada in 1949. He supported the Polish community in Montreal as well as helping in the creation of the Canadian Polish Institute. His dictum to us was: do it once, do it right, do it to your best ability. Funeral services will be held on December 7 at 10 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 5580 St. Urbain Street, Montreal, thence to Cote des Neiges cemetery. The family will receive condolences at the church before the service. 9:30 a.m. visitation at the church. Many thanks to all who have taken care of him during his illness. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society or the Canadian Polish Institute would be appreciated. May he rest in peace. Published in the Montreal Gazette on 12/6/2007
