ANTLE, Theresa Caroline Beloved sister and aunt, retired family counselor and former Presentation Sister. Died peacefully, Thursday 29 November 2007 in her 72nd year. Born in Turk's Cove, Trinity Bay and educated in Windsor, Theresa entered the Presentation Convent in St. John's, Newfoundland at the age of 15. She graduated from St. F.X. with a B.A. and B.ED and taught school at Riverhead-St. Mary's Bay, Buchans, Gander and St. John's. After over 25 years of service to the church she left the convent to obtain her MPS (Family Counseling) & CRT (Theology) & MA (Marital Counseling) at St. Paul's University and worked in Ottawa from 1978 to 2004 as Assistant Director at the Family Ministry Office of the Ottawa Diocesan Centre, Pulvermacher-Stevens and Goldstein, Moncion & Associates. Theresa will be sadly missed by her huge gang of friends in Ottawa: Rick, Paula, Indra, Veronica, Helene, Fern, Anne-Marie, David and Father Bill. She will also be fondly remembered by her many clients in Ottawa and her many friends in Newfoundland. Her departure leaves much sadness for her two sisters: Kay and Angela and two brothers: Elias and Jack and her nieces, nephews, their children and partners. Theresa is predeceased by parents Gertrude and John Bernard, sister Shirley (in infancy), Anna (sister-in-law) and niece Tracey. Theresa Antle was buried in St. Joseph's cemetery, Windsor, NL on Saturday 2 December 2007. Published in the Ottawa Citizen on 12/8/2007
