HUMPHRIES, James At the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Thursday, December 6, 2007. James Yuill "J.Y." Humphries of Alexandria; age 84 years. Beloved husband of Jean Humphries (nee Campbell). Loving father of Ruth Stiefelmeyer (John) of Renfrew, Ian Humphries (Carmen) of Ottawa, Ralph Humphries (Tish) of Williamstown, and Cathy Roy (Kevin Cooper) of Williamstown. Dear brother of Beryl Thompson (Jack) of Burlington. Dear son of the late Carl Humphries and the late Effie Yuill. Also survived by 11 grandchildren Sara, Kate, Carley, Brittney, Jennifer, Tessa, Calla, Hannah, Emma, Jessica and Patrick. Relatives and friends may call the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Sunday, December 9, 2007 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Funeral Service will be held at Alexandria United Church (Church on the Hill) on Monday, December 10, 2007 at 11 a.m. Spring Interment in Horton Township Cemetery, Renfrew.
