KOCKLER, Hans G. "Gone Fishin'" At age 57 Hans passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 6, 2007 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Christine (Lloyd) and his 17-year old son, Kevin. Hans was the only child and beloved son of Karl and Anna Kockler of Milton, Ontario. He will be fondly remembered by his parents-in-law Owen and Jean Lloyd of Ottawa, brothers-in-law Stephen Lloyd of Prescott and Jeffrey Lloyd (Jodi Leigh) and nephew Jacob Lloyd of Kemptville. Hans will also be warmly remembered by his relatives and many friends in Germany as well as in Canada. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the various doctors, nurses, and personal care workers for their constant care and encouragement during Hans' illness. Respects and condolences may be offered at the Kelly Funeral Home, 580 Eagleson Road, Kanata from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Monday, December 10, 2007, followed immediately by a brief service in the chapel.
