McEwen, Jack (John Duncan) In Mississauga on December 2, in his 81st year after a valiant struggle to stay with us just a little longer. Beloved husband and best friend of Lee (MacLean) for more than 55 years. Devoted father of Janet (Henry), Julia (Al), John, Jeff (Lorraine). Adored grandfather of Sarah (Dwayne), Matthew (Charity), Emily, David, Greg, Ben, Christina (Chris), Kevin, Tyler, Cory and Mitchell. Sadly missed by sister Jean Casey of Ottawa, brother Don McEwen (Amber) of Ann Arbor, Michigan and special friends, Jackie Pherrill, Hazel and Bill Leal and Shirley and Jack Smith. Predeceased by parents, John McEwen and Viola Siegert de Creney. Dad was a tireless volunteer with the Kinsmen Club of Canada and the Shriners organization. He was a valuable contributor to the Shrine's Rameses Temple through the Sauunessu Unit, as Imperial Photographer, Treasurer and Parliamentarian. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Shriner's Children's Hospitals would be appreciated.
