HAMILTON, Rita (Hardy). 1913-2007. At the Montreal General Hospital on Sunday, December 9, 2007, after a mercifully brief illness 10 days before her ninety-fourth birthday. She was the beloved wife and best friend of the late Victor Hamilton; loving daughter of the late Georges Hardy and the late Hannah (Williams) Hardy. Much loved sister of the late Dorothy Ashworth (Bill) and the late Helen Perry (Don). Predeceased by nephew Wayne Perry and sadly missed by dear niece Judith Holst of Norway and her children; as well as caring nephews David, Tony, Peter Asworth; their spouses and children. Rita took great pride in being the great-great aunt of eleven. Visitation will take place at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, 5610 Sherbrooke St. West (corner Marcil) 514-483-1870, Thursday, December 13 from 1 to 2 p.m. followed by a service in the chapel of the funeral home at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Rita's name may be made to Contractivity Centre, 4695 de Maisonneuve W., Westmount, QC H3Z 1L9 or to a charity of your choice.
