COHEN, Vivian (nee Turkenik). Tragically, after a brief illness on Monday, December 10, 2007. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Lorne and Ronna Cohen, Marla and Frank Yanofsky. Devoted sister and sister-in-law of Harriet and Harold Laxer. Adored "Grandma" of Samantha, Alison, Jonathan, Andrew and Ryan Cohen; Matthew and Joshua Yanofsky. Much loved by her nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, the extended family of her dear late Martin Rubin, her very special friends and bridge buddies. Very special thanks to Dr. Steven Cape, Lynn, Carmela and the wonderful staff of the I.C.U., St. Mary's Hospital for their help and guidance. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Thursday, December 13 at 12 noon. Burial at the Chevra Kadisha B'nai Jacob Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at 5350 Macdonald #310 from 2 p.m. daily. Contributions in her memory may be made to your favorite charity. Vivian will be sadly missed. Our lives will never be the same without her.
