OBITUARY MARIO VANI Surrounded by his family and friends, Mario passed away on Wednesday night, December 12, 2007 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of fifty. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Mattea of 26 years; his cherished daughters, Jessica and Christina; devoted parents, Francesco and Giannina Vani; dear brothers Paolo (Marie-Claire) and Elio (Viviane); treasured son-in-law to Salvatore and Libera Iervolino; brother-in-law to Mary (Dominic), Franca (Bobby) and Tony. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mario was a respected West Island Real Estate Broker and avid golfer. The visitation will be held at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 boul. des Sources, D.D.O., QC (514) 685-3344 on Sunday, December 16, 2007 from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Thomas a Becket Parish, 4320 Ste-Anne, Pierrefonds, QC on Monday, December 17, 2007 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Rideau Memorial Gardens.
