LUMSDEN, LLOYD CYRIL - Lloyd Cyril Lumsden, of Salt Springs, NB, was called home to be with Jesus on December 8, 2007, at home, after a long battle with cancer, in his 77th year. He was born in Chaplin Island Road, Newcastle, NB in 1931, son of the late Sidney I. Lumsden and Amanda (Fleiger) Lumsden, Newcastle. He is survived by Sandra; and special sons, L.J David and Tanya Dempsey, of Saint John, Daniel and Pam Dempsey, of Rothesay; special daughter, Sherrill and Kirk Ross of Sarnia, ON; grand specials, Sarah, Amanda and Ashley Dempsey of Saint John, Drake Dempsey of Rothesay and Andrew of Saint John; brothers, Robert Lumsden of Newcastle, Alex and Joyce Lumsden of Nine Mile River, NS, and Eldon and Mary Lumsden of Dieppe; sisters, Mabel Matchett of Newcastle, and Dot and Jerry Howe of Newcastle; and many nieces and nephews. Lloyd was predeceased by brothers, Doug, Bill, Fred and Vincent and infants, Hubert and Richard; and sisters, Leone McKay and Annie Wood. Visitation will be held at Sherwood's Funeral Home (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, on Tuesday, from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Sherwood's Chapel, on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Christ Church Cemetery Bloomfield.
