DUPLESSIS, LLOYD The passing of Lloyd George DuPlessis of Douglas, NB, husband of Juanita (Alward) DuPlessis occurred on December 11th, 2007 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Arrangements are incomplete at this time and are under the care and direction of York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB (458-9538) December 12, 2007 DUPLESSIS, LLOYD GEORGE DOUGLAS, NB - went to be with the Lord on December 11, 2007. He passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. He was born on March 23, 1921, in Mactaquac, NB on his parents farm. He graduated from the Keswick Ridge Superior School, was employed as a woods worker and a NB licensed log scaler with H.S. Gill & Son's Ltd. In 1976, he returned to farming with his sons and family. He was a deacon of the Keswick Baptist Church for many years. In addition to his loving wife of 60 years, Juanita (Alward); Lloyd is survived by sons, David (Ida Betts) of Douglas, NB and Douglas of Douglas, NB; three grandchildren, Jason of Norwood, Mass., Julie and Jeremy of Douglas, NB; siblings, Frank (Muriel), Charlie (Aileen), Dale, Bruce (June), David, Pauline Armstrong (Doug), Hazel Phillips (Archie) and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his infant son, George Alfred; his parents, Harvey and Blanche (Moore) DuPlessis; brothers, Fred, Johnson and Paul; sisters, Marion Wallace and Helen Hicks. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, on Friday, December 14, 2007 from 2 - 4 pm and 6:30 - 8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the Keswick United Baptist Church on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 2 pm with Pastor Jonathan McKay officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be grandchildren; Jason, Julie and Jeremy DuPlessis and their friends Tony Whittaker, Kathy Currie and Joe White. Honorary Pallbearers are Deacons, Charlie Sutherland, Charlie Hawkins, Steve Montgomery, Bob McCullough; as well as, Lloyd Gill and Ronald Neill. Interment will take place in the Mactaquac Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Keswick Baptist Church or to a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated.
